I`ve never been interested in one of these guns before, so this is all new to me. I got the gun for a really cheap price, that was the only way i could afford to buy one of these type guns. Do you have any suggestions on a good place to look/buy? I`m recently retired by force and i dont have a ton of money to play with, so price is a issue. I dunno, i guess i need to look around a little more and see whats out there that i like and will support my needs.
What i dont want, is a fore grip full of full length milled in rails, pretty much a cheese grater at that point.lol. I didn`t really want to go with a free float system, but what i have, kinda leaves me really limited. Unlike this one i have, you can only mount it where they drilled an tapped holes in the fore grip. I`ve seen a bunch of the other fore grips out on the market where you have options to, mount, move, slide, the rails where you want them to be. And it also does not let me move the rails where i want to, as they would be in a fixed "factory" location on the fore grip. I guess as much as i like this DH fore grip, i`m limited on what i can do with it without having to order a rail every time i wanna do something. So that means i would have to buy some pic rails right directly from diamondhead to mount to it if i want to add accessories. So, i was doing some more research on this DH fore grip, and it appears its proprietary. Here is the link to the fore grip from diamondhead USA It came on the gun from the factory with this Diamondhead fore grip. It is for the Stag Model 3, which this is a carbine model they offer.
